1 Introducing the FTB-1
The FTB-1 platform is a modular platform, optimized for network
infrastructure construction and troubleshooting via its dedicated FTTH and
Ethernet test applications.
Note: In this documentation, the words “tap” and “double-tap” (related to the
use of a touchscreen) replace the words “click” and “double-click”.
Main Features
Your FTB-1 platform includes the following:
Multitasking possibilities
Seven-inch color touchscreen (LCD and touchscreen optimized for
outdoor use available as an option)
Optional built-in power meter and VFL
Optional internal Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices
Two USB 2.0 ports (host)
Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Base-T)
Headset/microphone port (for any commercially available headset
equipped with a microphone, and having a 2.5 mm connector)
Fiber inspection probe port
Optional GPS USB key
Optional 3G USB modem key
