Fiber Guardian 287
LED Indicators Description
System Green The unit is working properly. There are no
software or hardware problems.
Yellow Non-critical hardware error detected. You can
look in the Host Web UI for more information
(see Viewing System Status on page 290).
The air filter could be dirty.
Inspect and replace the air filter if necessary
(see Replacing the Air Filter on page 246).
The temperature of the room where the unit
is located, could be slightly too low or too
high. Ensure that the temperature falls
within the specified operating temperature
range (see Electrical Safety Information on
page 19).
Once the problem is solved, refresh the
LEDs status (see Refreshing the Status of the
LEDs on page 293).
If the problem persists, contact EXFO.
Yellow,
blinking
Non-critical software error detected.
Consult the Event log to find the cause of the
problem and try to solve it (see Viewing the
Event Log on page 233).
