Manual TDR
Manual TDR
Manual TDR does not automate any function nor settings and gives you full
control over TDR parameters such as range and gain. The test allows you to
set the parameters to be used as inputs for the TDR measurements. It can
display up to 3 traces, 1 live and 2 saved (1 minimum), in graphical format,
updating results in real time, until you stop the test. The last valid results
then remain displayed.
To access Manual TDR Test:
1. From the Copper main menu Test Groups, tap TDR test.
2. From the Tests menu, tap Manual TDR to start the test.
3. Use the graph controls to maneuver the graph. Refer to Graph Controls
on page 19 for more information, except for hold trace , see below.
The page allows you to view and set the following parameters:
Select Cable button opens a new page that allows you to set the Cable
Parameters for the current test.
Trace Setup button opens a new page used for trace settings.
Save/Load Trace(s) button is used for loading and saving traces.
